Bird's eye view allows you to view aerial imaging of helipads around the State of Kansas and surrounding states. Bird's eye view is aerial mapping technology from Microsoft Live! With bird's eye view it will allow you to rotate around the landing zone to give you a view from each direction. You can also download for free the 3D application which upgrades your bird's eye from the basic 2D and allows you to then tilt your image as well as the ability to zoom in to the point that you could almost find a needle in a haystack! Please note that only populated areas have bird's eye view mapping for now, but will expand as time goes on.
A few listings have (*) next to them. These means that the location you are viewing does not have bird's eye view but a Kansas AAMS Member has submitted a photo of these location. If you have a photo of a helipad that is not listed in the directory please submit it to webadmin@kanaams.org. Please be sure to include the helipad location as well as the direction the photo was taken from. All photos will be credited to the photographer.
